Redshift 3.0.41. RS Principled Hair render test on 2x2080ti+NVLink. RTX ON/OFF

Image
In this video, I am showing a render-test of the new Redshift 3.0.41 on my recent project, which is already familiar to you from my previous tests. Since it has a new Hair Physical Material based on Disney research and I wanted to check how much slower it will render. Why was I already sure it was slower? Because many have already complained at the forum, but also since the material has become physically correct - naturally, it transmits more light and requires big miscalculations. But honestly, I didn't really get into all this .. I'm not a physicist or a mathematician. I am a creator with a creative mindset .. Therefore, for me - if only it renders beautifully and quickly, and what is there in physics and what processes are taking place is not very interesting =) Info about RTX SpeedUP - https://bit.ly/2R98DwF   The release of new NVIDIA Studio drivers also pushed me to this test. After all, Optix 7.2 was added to them, in which they promised to speed up the rendering of...

ORNATRIX advantages or why I ditched Xgen in 2021.

Image
So, first about why I like Ornatrix, and after that - why did I give up Xgen in 2021? You can also read this post here if this convenient for you. ARTSTATION I also want to say that I didn't show all of Ornatrix's features in this article. But I continue to show them in this playlist ORNATRIX ADVANTAGES Be careful - so many videos =) I think the main advantage of Ornatrix is its simplicity and intuitive use. I've heard this from many clients. You can achieve results faster than X-gen. That is - literally in a week - you can create your first hairstyles. Also, having spent time pumping a skill in Ornatrix, you will recoup the cost of it for one order + you can also buy a license for a friend =) Ahaha, the plan is this - we buy a subscription, study it in a week, take the first order, and voila =) Seriously! My first orders were just after a week of study ... I did not look at the tutorials on it, and after a week of studying by my self, I did this work, which got into the f...
