Ornatrix UE 5: First launch and performance test in Unreal Engine 5

Image
In this video - I run Ornatrix for Unreal Engine 5 and try to create something - to test performance and usability. In this case - 1 million hairs in HairFromGuides runs on my 3080(16GB) PC at 45-60 FPS, which is great for creating cinematics and more. Even if it was 5-10FPS - it's acceptable for work. I'm also testing a basic simulation. I've never done one before, so I just made some basic settings for the test. In this video - I didn't have a goal to create some awesome asset. For those who are looking at such a genre for the first time, I'll explain right away. For me, a reference from a game is an atmosphere, a spot of color, and so on. Any bit of it can inspire creativity. Be warned right away - this is not your typical quick playthrough. A series of these videos is a collection of different references from games - for 2d and 3d artists. That is, yes, here I am playing games - but slowly walking around their world to consider different details, where the game allows it. Where it makes sense to turn on the photo mode - I turn it on and consider different moments. Where it is possible to show the cha
