Ornatrix 3 / Maya / Redshift: How to transfer fur to a new object. 3rd episode.

 

In this video I continue to talk about transferring wool in Ornatrix for Maya and in this series, I show another Workflow as promised. The standard one, which was also in Ornatrix v2.

 

Here you will learn:

➡️paint mask for growth guides and hair

➡️use symmetry

➡️use the new guide drawing tool with a brush

➡️transfer all modifiers from one object to another

➡️And of course - try to render this hair in Redshift using the new RS Principled Hair material.

Of course in this episode - I am not showing all its settings and we will talk about it separately in other episodes.

 

I recorded this video - on an old computer with a 2x2080Ti. Just got to the voiceovers and subtitles.

In this video, I show - the initial stage of creating a hairstyle. Scalp preparation, special UV, mask drawing, and basic Ornatrix setup.
