Ornatrix 3 / Maya / Redshift: How to transfer fur to a new object. 3rd episode.

Image
In this video I continue to talk about transferring wool in Ornatrix for Maya and in this series, I show another Workflow as promised. The standard one, which was also in Ornatrix v2.   Here you will learn: ➡️paint mask for growth guides and hair ➡️use symmetry ➡️use the new guide drawing tool with a brush ➡️transfer all modifiers from one object to another ➡️And of course - try to render this hair in Redshift using the new RS Principled Hair material. Of course in this episode - I am not showing all its settings and we will talk about it separately in other episodes.   I recorded this video - on an old computer with a 2x2080Ti. Just got to the voiceovers and subtitles. In this video, I show - the initial stage of creating a hairstyle. Scalp preparation, special UV, mask drawing, and basic Ornatrix setup. --- PREVIOUS SERIES: - 1st episode - https://youtu.be/RtNWBN3H4fg   - 2nd episode - https://youtu.be/bhPwRK7vyMI   --- PATREON: If you want to get all the le...

Image
NVIDIA Studio Drivers? Alembic Hair Creation Process (Realtime) - Series 7-20 - 14 Hours

Image
Hello everybody! This video pack includes all WIPs that I recorded on Patreon , but due to a leak I decided to post it on the channel. There is no usual editing, voice acting and so on ... Somewhere I didn't even insert music, because I didn't waste time on it. The essence is simple. I continue to record the process of creating a hairstyle for the Unreal engine (Groom Plugin - Alembic Hair), which I will then use as a reference for creating haircards. And since Alembic is now gaining popularity, models are being sold and so on, I decided to cover two topics at once - in one project. When I create an asset for myself, there are three stages to it. 1. Sculpted hair shape 2. Hair for rendering - as a reference and for Unreal Alembic Hair 3. Create haircards. This includes preparing the texture and the process itself. In fact, all episodes from 7 to 20 are a large 14-hour stream, but I decided to divide it into parts, since it is easier to process the material and upload it to Yout...
