3d.sk Scan Mesh to Metahuman in Unreal Engine 5. How to create a human-dog creature?

 



In this video I will teach you how to use 3D-scan from 3d.sk library in Unreal Engine 5 - using Mesh to Metahuman, and we will do an experiment with my dog and see what happens.

On April 14, 2021, Epic Games released to early access the MetaHuman Creator tool. With it - you can create a realistic computer person with facial animation. Not only professional artists, but also ordinary users can work with it. With MetaHuman Creator you can easily and quickly get the same result as after working in complex 3D editors.

The tool can be used in combination with modern motion capture and animation technologies to create realistic scenes in games, movies, TV and other similar formats. MetaHuman Creator allows you to make characters with unique hairstyles and dress them up in exclusive outfits. You can also watch "meta-humans" in real time in your regular browser.

June 9, 2022 - Epic added the ability to import any Mesh inside the editor and it expanded its capabilities.
